Articulating Fiberscopes Articulating fiberscopes have a flexible insertion probe to navigate corners and the ability to move (articulate) the distal or working end either 2 or 4-ways using knobs or levers on the body. Optical quality is usually the determining factor on pricing and many grades are available.	Non-Articulating Fiberscopes Non-articulating flexible borescopes do not have control of the distal or working end. They are used when the tip does not require steering or moving. These products range in diameters from 0.5mm (0.020in) through 9mm (0.35in).	Video Scope Products Using a CCD sensor at the distal or working end, video scopes provide higher quality images than traditional fiberscopes. These products are typically larger in diameter and range from 3.5mm OD to 10.3mm OD. They can either have control of the distal or working end (articulating) or not (non-articulating).
